OPPORTUNITY FOR AN OUTSTANDING INDIVIDUAL TO JOIN A SMALL AND DYNAMIC POLITICAL WEB DESIGN & DIGITAL MARKETING COMPANY FOR A 3-6 MONTH VOLUNTARY INTERNSHIP. DUBLIN 2. - July 2011

OPPORTUNITY FOR AN OUTSTANDING INDIVIDUAL TO JOIN A SMALL AND DYNAMIC POLITICAL WEB DESIGN & DIGITAL MARKETING COMPANY FOR A 3-6 MONTH VOLUNTARY INTERNSHIP. DUBLIN 2.

ExSite Politics Ltd is the only Digital Marketing provider focused entirely on servicing the needs of Ireland’s political sector. Based at its HQ on Baggot St in close proximity to Leinster House – ExSite offers a great opportunity for somebody with an interest in politics, digital marketing, web and graphic design, communication, sales, and working in a small business.

The successful applicant’s duties would involve managing a service delivery operation, looking after content on client websites, being involved in designing and building websites, communicating with clients, making sales calls to political clients, writing proposal documents, doing research on clients.

Working hours could be flexible, but we’d like a commitment of at lease 20-30 hours per week, ideally from Monday to Thursday between 9.30 to 5.30. A fixed workstation is provided, and our office has pantry facilities. Reasonable travel expenses can be covered.

This is a voluntary position, so there is no remuneration. The successful applicant can expect to learn about web design and social media techniques at the coal face – including Search Engine Optimisation, Email Marketing, Managing Web Development, Social Media management and integration, writing bid proposals, sales strategies and other sales techniques, working in the political sector. We can offer skills and experience that are in demand at the moment – digital marketing is one of the few areas in the world economy that has stayed buoyant in the last few years – the political sector is also less affected by economic winds.

ExSite Communications Ltd, our sister company that shares our office and resources, has a growing list of exciting clients and brands and the opportunity to work on its less political projects will also arise.

Please email your CV and a cover letter outlining why you’d like to work with ExSite to work@exsite.ie. No deadline, please apply as soon as possible.
